夏はキンキンに冷えた飲み物が飲みたい、葉です。
初めてスタバを知ったのは、留学していたニューヨーク。
アメリカのスタバもマックも飲み物のサイズが日本よりもだいぶ大きくて、ビックリしたな。
日本でいうとVentiサイズとか普通に皆な頼んでるし、お腹ちゃぽんちゃぽんになんないの？？と体格の差を改めて感じてました。
スタバなんて、さらっとジーパンとキャミソールでシンプルな恰好をしているけどさまになるニューヨーカー、キャリアっぽい人達がさらっと自分好みにカスタマイズをする姿、カッコ良くて憧れたけど、学生が買うには高かった。
今でも日本のスタバでも、ちょっと「意識高い系」（風？）の方が行くイメージがまだ残ってはいそうだけど、LINEギフトでちょこちょこもらう機会も増えました。
去年の誕生日プレゼントでも貰ったし、先日もリファレンスチェックの対応したお礼でLINEギフトとしてドリンク引き換え券もらったので、早速ブログ記事を書くお供にドリンク買ってきました。
冬場は「HOT アールグレイラテ＋ソイミルクに変更」を良く飲んだけど、暖かくなってきたので今回は「ダークモカチッププラペチーノ」を選びました。安定の美味しさ♡ でもチョコチップが歯に挟まるんだけど（笑）
ドリンク引換券がもう１枚残っているので、また飲もう♡
I first came to know about Starbucks in New York when I was studying abroad.
I was surprised that the drink sizes at Starbucks and McDonald’s in America were much larger than in Japan.
Everyone orders what would be considered a Venti size in Japan, so I was reminded of the difference in physique.
I admired the New Yorkers who dress simply in jeans and tanks, and the business persons who casually customize their drinks to their liking, but they were too expensive for a student to buy.
Even now, Starbucks in Japan still has the image of being a place for people with a certain level of “consciousness” (or so it seems?), but I’ve been getting occasionally as LINE gifts.
I got one as a birthday gift last year, and the other day I received a drink exchange coupon as a LINE gift as a thank you for completing a reference check, so I immediately bought a drink to accompany me while I write this blog post.
In the winter, I often drank “HOT Earl Grey Latte with Soy Milk”, but now that it’s getting warmer, I chose “Dark Mocha Chip Prappuccino” this time. Consistently delicious. But the chocolate chips get stuck between my teeth (lol)
I have one more drink voucher left, so I’ll drink it again soon.
