お土産のセンスが欲しい、葉です。
高校生の息子が、北海道の修学旅行のお土産を買ってきてくれました。
事前に息子からお土産の入念な打ち合わせがあり、本人もセンスのあるものを買ってきたいらしく、「六花亭のお菓子はどう？」「バターサンドいる？」「逆にいらないもの教えて」「他に欲しいものあったら調べといて」というので、その軍資金はどこから出ているのか忘れてないか？と思いながらも、「〇〇の恋人はいらないよ」「六花亭は全部美味しそうだから何か欲しい」「バターサンドは欲しい」等々… しっかりと、意見させていただきました。
そして、買ってきてくれたお土産がこちら。
我が息子ながら、中々良いセンス
本人も、イクラ、海鮮、スープカレー、スノボなどなど北海道を堪能できたようで、良かった良かった。
お土産のセンスってもらう相手を喜ばせたいという「愛」なんだなと分かった瞬間でした。

He had carefully discussed the souvenirs beforehand, and he also wanted to buy something tasteful, asking things like “How about sweets from Rokkatei?” “Do you want Butter sandwiched biscuits?” “Conversely, tell me what you don’t want,” and “If there’s anything else you want, find out and tell me.” I wondered if he had forgotten where the money was coming from (us), but I still gave him my opinions, saying things like “I don’t need 〇〇” “I want anything from Rokkatei because it looks delicious,” and “I want Butter sandwiched biscuits.”
And here are the souvenirs he brought back.
Very good taste
I’m glad that he enjoyed salmon roe, seafood, soup curry, and snowboarding.
That was the moment I realized that souvenir taste is about “love” and wanting to make the recipient happy.
