先日、2Fに置いているダイソン様が赤点滅始めました。V6 mattressなので、結構古いです。1回バッテリー交換もしてます。前回どうしたんだっけ？とamazonのバッテリー購入履歴を見ると、2020年1月に互換バッテリーを購入してるけど、返品してる。あれ、何か互換バッテリーがダメな理由があったはず！と思ってダイソンの公式HP見ると、バッテリー「在庫切れ」の文字。もう生産中止か、今ちょうど在庫切れなのか、でもいつ入るか分からないものを待てないぞ！と思い、「何で返品したんだっけ？？」と記憶を辿ってみると、そう言えば前回、その時自分で取り替えようと思ってネジを回したら、ネジがバカになって外せなかったんだった！だからダイソンに送って取り替えてもらったんだ！と思い出しました。

なので、今回は先にネジ外せるかを確認、そしてamazonで互換バッテリーを購入。（今、amazonって翌日5:00～11:00に配達がある。ちょっと配達の方に申し訳ないと思いながらも）翌日AMに到着し、ものの数分で交換完了、無事に復活しましたとさ。

The other day, the Dyson I have on the 2nd floor started flashing red. It’s a V6 mattress, so it’s pretty old. I’ve replaced the battery once. What did I do last time? When I looked at my battery purchase history on Amazon, I saw that I bought a compatible battery in January 2020, but I returned it. There must have been some reason why the compatible battery was no good! I thought, and when I looked at Dyson’s official website, the battery was “out of stock”. I wondered if it was already out of production, or if it was just out of stock now, but I can’t wait for something that I don’t know when it will arrive! I thought, “Why did I return it??” and traced my memory, and remembered that the last time I tried to replace it myself, when I turned the screw, the screw became loose and I couldn’t remove it! So I sent it to Dyson to have it replaced! I remembered.

So, this time I first checked whether I could remove the screw, and then bought a compatible battery on Amazon. (Right now, Amazon delivers between 5:00 and 11:00 the next day. I felt a little sorry for the delivery person.) It arrived the next morning, and the replacement was completed in just a few minutes, and the device was successfully revived.
